The Soul Pushers: July 2010

The Soul Pushers are a acoustic duo featuring an eclectic combination of Americana, Blues , and Soul music from the likes of Neil Young, Muddy Waters, and Bill Withers. The duo of Bryan Billhimer and Matt Senatore, hailing from Cincinnati, has been involved in various musical endeavors since 2001 including Cincinnati based national act Blessid Union of Souls. Currently, the two have been motivated to get back to the roots of their musical background. Thus The Soul Pushers were formed in an effort to rediscover the music they love by their favorite artists. While the two have been performing cover renditions of The Band, Tom Petty, Taj Mahal, Robert Johnson. etc, an original debut is inevitable.

Thursdays at MJ's

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has followed The Soul Pushers to Mj's on Main every Thursday for the last few months. We had a great time and look forward to seeing you faithful followers at the shows to come. By the way, we will be playing at MJ's on Saturday August 14th so don't miss it. We are working up a whole new batch of songs that we think you'll really dig!
